In that case both are written as sent, and a null externalPowerLimitW clears the EVSE's external power limit. When updateExternalPowerLimit is omitted or false, both fields are ignored and any existing limit is left unchanged.
The active limit is returned as externalPowerLimitW and externalPowerLimitExpiresAt on the EVSE in this endpoint's response and in GET /sites/{siteId}.

Set a temporary power limit on a node
Required scope: energy:write
Limits the node to limitW watts until expiresAt (must be in the future), after which the limit is lifted automatically. A limit of 0 fully curtails the node.
A node holds at most one external power limit: setting a new one replaces the existing one. While active, the external limit replaces the node's configured and scheduled powerLimitW, so it can be higher or lower than them. The node's fuse limit still applies.
The active limit is returned as externalPowerLimitW and externalPowerLimitExpiresAt on the node in GET /sites/{siteId}. Both are null when no limit is active. A limit set by a meter integration may have a null externalPowerLimitExpiresAt.
On a node with a Perific meter that has a digital-input rule configured, the meter controls this limit and overwrites or clears it on every meter report.

Set a node's weekly power-limit schedule

Replaces the node's whole weekly power-limit schedule with powerLimitSchedule. Send an empty list to clear the schedule.
Each item limits the node to powerLimitW watts on dayOfWeek (MONDAY ā¦ SUNDAY) from startTime until endTime, both in HH:mm local site time. startTime must be before endTime, powerLimitW must be zero or positive, and intervals on the same day must not overlap. An endTime of 23:59 lasts until midnight. Outside the scheduled intervals the node's configured powerLimitW applies, and an active external power limit takes precedence over the schedule.
Returns 400 for an invalid schedule and 404 when the site or node is not found.
